With applications starting in early spring and ending in late fall, our balanced blend of slow-release fertilizer gives your grass the nutrients it needs to help wake up after a long winter. It also helps to sustain the health and appearance of your turf throughout the season. With our pre/post-emergent crabgrass control, we work to stop crabgrass from germinating. In addition, weed control is applied at different intervals throughout the season to keep other weeds at bay. Preventive grub control is included in the late spring, and along with our slow-release fertilizer, will help sustain your turf during the hot, dog days of summer. We also apply surface insect control during this application to help prevent damage from pests such as chinch bugs, armyworms, and sod webworms.
In the fall, we apply another round of slow-release fertilizer and liquid weed control to take care of any late summer weeds that have germinated. We will also target those hard-to-control weeds such as violets that are most vulnerable as the weather cools down. As your lawn begins to prepare for dormancy, we utilize a slow-release fertilizer that will sustain your grass throughout the winter. These nutrients go directly to the roots rather than to the leaves of the plant. This will strengthen them, making them more resilient against our harsh Pennsylvania winters.
